Breaking LG Electronics' net profit plunges 38.4 percent in Q3
LG Electronics, the nation’s second-biggest tech giant, said its net profit in the third quarter was 124.75 billion won ($110 million), down 38.4 percent compared with 202.6 billion won a year earlier, Yonhap reports.
Operating profit fell 36.8 percent to 293.98 billion won in the period while sales dipped 4.7 percent to 14 trillion won.
