IT'S GOOD FOR YOUR GAME

Nose over toes is how it goesDon’t you hate it when your golf swing gets short and choppy, and you feel completely rushed and out of sync?In addition to all the bad feels, your ball scatters all over the course and flies much shorter than normal — especially with the driver. While there are many causes for this uncomfortable situation, the good news is that it’s only temporary, and the solution is simple: Get in balance before you swing, then stay in balance while you swing.First, check your weight distribution at address. Bad balance often begins here, with the weight too far forward on the toes. It should be distributed from the balls of the feet backward to the heels, so your center of gravity is straight down through the middle of your body. With this arrangement, you’re not immediately pulled forward and off balance at the start of your swing.Second, once your setup is balanced, focus on your tempo and make a smooth, unhurried swing with no leaps or lurches. Do this first with your practice swing, then with your actual swing.Think o

But you have difficulties swinging your club back on an ideal path. Often, you cannot stop swinging your club too far outside or inside your target line no matter how hard you try.Failing to swing your club on the correct path, you will have diverse poor shots. If you swing your club from outside the target line through your shot, you’ll incur pulls and pull-slices. Sometimes, you will hit your ball on the hosel of your club, hitting a shank shot.Swinging your club from too far inside the target line through your shot, you’ll push your shots to the right. Park Byung-ho makes list of top 10 designated hitters

Park Byung-hoMinnesota Twins’ slugger Park Byung-ho has been named one of the 10 best designated hitters in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 2016.American television network CBS Sports on Tuesday named Park, who has yet to make his MLB debut, to its list of the best 10 designated hitters in MLB for 2016.“He's the unknown quantity,” CBS Sports reports. “The 29-year-old Korean import boasts impressive power (105 homers over the last two seasons in KBO), and last season Kang Jung-ho proved that Korean hitters can pass muster and even thrive in MLB. That said, when a hitter is making such an extreme leap, it’s wise to temper expectations. Park, though, has the upside to be much higher on this list next time.”At the top of the list was Mariners’ slugger Nelson Cruz, and in second was David Ortiz of the Red Sox. Third was Blue Jays’ slugger Edwin Encarnacion.CBS Sports noted that the list ignores salary and that all-around play matters. The Twins and Park agreed to a four-year, $12 million contract in December last year.
