Seongbuk-gu Office employees switch out the street sign of “Inchon-ro 7-gil” to “Goryeodae-ro 7-gil” in front of their office in Seoul, Wednesday. Inchon is the pen name of Kim Sung-soo, the founder of Korea University. In 2017 the Supreme Court ruled that Kim was involved in pro-Japanese activities during the colonial rule of Korea (1910-45) and the government stripped him of his Medal of Merit for National Foundation. The district office decided on the sign change last year following a vote by residents. / Korea Times photo by Ko Young-kwon
