K-pop boy band Infinite topped music charts hours after releasing its new album "Reality." / Yonhap

K-pop boy band Infinite is topping the charts with its new song “Bad.”

The song, from the album “Reality,” topped six popular music charts including Mnet, Genie and Soribada as at 10 a.m. Monday

The lyrics are about a man who decides to bet everything on a girl, even though he knows she is a bad person. The song combines elements of electronic dance music with aesthetic sounds.

Music producer Rphabet

who has worked on the group’s other tunes, including “Back” and “Destiny”

wrote the song.

After debuting in 2010, the seven-member band has become hugely popular in Southeast Asia and Japan.

Members include Kim Sung-kyu, Chang Dong-woo, Nam Woo-hyun, Hoya, L, Lee Sung-yeol and Lee Sung-jong.
