Online tool decides pay based on CV

An online tool has been launched to calculate salaries based on CVs.

ValueMyCV, established by job search engine Adzuna, analyses the submitted resume and works out an estimate of the person's going rate based on their qualifications, skills and work experience.

It also has an "email my boss" feature for those who want to send the result to their company, and suggests alternative careers.

Adzuna offers guidance for those with poor CVs, helping people sell themselves better.
