Most people want to lose fat from their bellies ahead of any other part of the body, a survey has found.

According to online retailer Gmarket, 79 percent of male respondents wanted to lose belly fat before summer while 48 percent of female respondents also did. The company surveyed 662 customers on diet plans.

“Men care more about losing belly fat whereas women want to be in good physical shape,” a company spokesman.

For women, thighs came second (12 percent), followed by arms (12 percent), waist (9 percent) and calves (5 percent). For men, the waist was second (6 percent), then arms (4 percent), thighs (3 percent) and the bottom (2 percent).

More than 92 percent of respondents said they were dieting for summer.
