Police used a Taser gun on a former KBS report bureau chief after he allegedly sexually harassed a women in a bar last week.

The man, surnamed Lee, is now a reporter in the business department of the national broadcaster’s Daejeon branch in Chungcheong Province. The incident allegedly happened while Lee was drunk at the bar in Seo-gu, Daejeon, on Mar. 7.

Lee, who reportedly started at KBS in 1985 as a TV announcer, went on vacation on Mar. 9, a company insider told an online news outlet.

The company is investigating the incident. Lee allegedly said he could not recall what happened on the day.
