Food makers target 'stay-at-home' gourmets

Local food manufacturers are rolling out products to attract the “stay-at-home” gourmet as home cooking gains popularity.

According to Maeil Dairy, the country’s largest seller of dairy products, the cheese product market has expanded by ㅡmore thanover 10 percent last year on a year-on-year basis.

“Consumers’ needs have diversified,” a spokesperson said. “P and processed cheese, in particular, has been very popular as it can be added to many dishes like omelets, pizza and soufflés.”,” a Maeil Dairy spokesperson said.

PSuch products include the company’s Pizza Cheese Golden Mix and Mozzarella Pizza Cheese.
