Korean women worry about thin eyebrows

Eyebrows are one of the most identifying facial features because they frame your eyes, which can change the overall appearance of our face. Unfortunately, Korean women aren’t confident about their brows.

According to a survey by Maybelline New York, some 42 percent of respondents felt concern about thin, straggly brows. The American make-up company conducted the survey on 3,400 women in Korea in December last year.

“Many Korean women aren’t sure what eyebrow shapes are the best for their facial features,” a Maybelline New York spokeswoman said.

The survey also showed that about 20 percent of those questioned have asymmetric eyebrows, and about nine percent said their hair color and eyebrows do not match, because they dyed their hair.

“We launched the Fashion Brow Duo Eyebrow, a brow pencil that will meet the needs of those who aren’t happy with their brows,” the spokeswoman said. The pencil makes it easy to control the shade and fill in gaps evenly with its two-millimeter and long-lasting powder on each end, the company said.
