A Korean woman in her fifties was handed over airport police last week after she caused a disturbance on a Korean Air flight, Yonhap News Agency reports.

Company officials confirmed the Dec. 19 incident to Yonhap on Friday. According to the news report, the woman quarreled with her husband in the business-class section during a flight from Atlanta to Incheon, throwing books and dishes at him. She reportedly pushed a crew member during the scuffle.

The disturbance began about four and a half hours after departing Atlanta and carried on for three hours.

Crew members immediately requested that the woman show self-restraint and gave her a written warning. However, the efforts weren’t immediately successful.

The woman was moved to economy class, but got back up and tried to continue the fight with her husband.

“We are allowed to use stun gun and tie up the passengers if they go out of control,” an official from the Korean Air told Yonhap. “But we managed to calm her down and separated her from her husband.”
