Girl asks for chicken in exchange for lost wallet

The story of a man who lost his wallet and the high school student who found it has gone viral online after he shared it online.

The man explained on a community website for photography enthusiasts that he recently lost his wallet containing 8,000 won ($7.35) in cash and credit cards.

The student found the man’s business card in the wallet and called him.

The girl said, "I can send it, but I really want to eat chicken right now. Can I buy chicken with your credit card?” according to the man.

The man answered yes, and soon after received a text-message receipt from Kyochon Chicken.

The man's post, titled “The cute threat after losing a wallet," began circulating online and was spotted by various Korean online media platforms.

A commenter wrote in response to the online story, "This is too adorable, I would buy her more than just one box of chicken."
