Journalist Kwak Jeong-eun is in hot water after she suggested on a talk show that she might want to have sex with singer Jang Ki-ha.

Appearing on SBS’s “Magic Eye” on Tuesday, the journalist, 37, was asked to evaluate the sexual charms of the male guests, including the lead vocalist of popular rock band “Jang Ki-ha and the Faces.”

Kwak referred to Jang’s “explosive” stage manner and wondered how such energy would translate to a bed, apparently with herself participating.

“I was a regular guest on Jang’s radio show,” Kwak explained on Magic Eye. “I found that he was usually quiet but became explosive onstage. That got me thinking about what he might turn into on a bed.”

Her R-rated comment angered netizens, who lambasted her inappropriateness.

Korea Communication Commission has been asked to view the controversial portion of the show and announce the result by next week, a local newspaper said on Thursday.

Kwak later responded to the backlash on her blog.

She was resolute in saying that she would “not be victimized by this irrational, illogical witch hunt.”

But she added, “There is no doubt that I must apologize to anyone who I may have offended, though I meant what I said as a compliment.”
