A gang leader in Seongnam, Gyeonggi province was charged Monday with obstructing justice, after allegedly punching a policeman, MBC reports.

The man, in his 40s, was in a police station in Seongnam Monday after getting into a fight while drinking.

While he was writing a statement, he suddenly threw a chair.

When police tried to handcuff him, he refused, saying, “I am the head of a crime gang, so treat me well.”

The man, identified only as Kim, was found to be the head of the largest crime group in Gyeonggi Province.

Kim later slapped a police officer's face who tried to stop him smoking in the police station.

Kim was charged with obstructing justice.
