Seoul city and the Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation will host a fashion show of Korean traditional clothing at the Cheonggyecheon Stream near Dongdaemun at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The show will take place on a number of stages next to the Ogansugyo Bridge, in an area known as Dongdaemun fashion town.

Various stages will feature hanboks. In the first display, "I am a Hanbok Fashion Star," middle and high school students will wear traditional clothing.

Other stages will feature members of The Story of Jongro Children's Association Center.

The hanboks are designed by Park Ji-hyun, a designer for traditional clothing, with various dresses to be showcased, such as traditional, royal, and gisaeng-styled attire.

There will be a musical opening ceremony, with another one after the show.

Those wishing to participate can register on the Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation official webpage, www.sisul.or.kr.
