Seo Tae-ji to give high-profile interview

Pop icon Seo Tae-ji will sit down for an interview with respected television journalist Sohn Seok-hee as part of the 42-year-old entertainer’s comeback from a hiatus.

The interview on JTBC’s “News Room, slated for Wednesday, is highly anticipated because both figures are respected in their fields.

Seo, who is promoting his ninth album, “Quiet Night,” is expected to unveil a new song during the appearance.

The album is Seo’s first since 2008. He has kept a low profile in recent years and fans are curious about his marriage to actress Lee Eun-seong and the birth of his first child in August.

The news program has reportedly coveted an interview with Seo for some time.

Seo debuted as leader of the boy band Seo Tae-ji and Boys in 1992, while Sohn debuted in 1984 as an anchorman for MBC.
