Vacant seats

Members of the ruling Saenuri Party sit at a plenary session of the National Assembly, Seoul, Friday, while the remaining seats for the main opposition New Politics Alliance for Democracy and other minor opposition parties are empty. Opposition lawmakers refused to attend the session, criticizing the governing camp’s move to handle bills unilaterally.
