Korea National Sport University

A research team at Korea National Sport University in Seoul carried out tests on students for over a decade without a proper license, and awarded them with “A’s” in their classes.

According to a report by the Korea Center for Investigative Journalism, the study looked at the impact of sports on the body and involved extracting muscles and fats from the subjects.

The team consisted of six professors, graduate school students and outside researchers. However, one of professors who conducted the extractions did so without a medical license.

More than a half of 218 volunteers were the university’s students, who were told they would be given an “A” in classes if they participated.

One student who volunteered in the experiment reportedly cannot play his sport anymore due to side effects from the extraction.
