A 30-something man surnamed Lee in Ulsan decided to do something disgusting – wiping human feces on the door locks and walls outside his neighbor’s unit.
Lee was sentenced to six months in prison and two years of probation for the act, News1 reports.
Lee, 31, was living on first floor of the apartment and was unhappy with the noises coming from upstairs. He applied the feces to the door area nine times over the course of a month.
The neighbor requested a CCTV inspection and identified the man downstairs.
“If one was under stress from noise between floors, he should have tried to figure out a solution by seeking help from the apartment autonomous bodies, or the administration office. Instead, Lee just concluded that the noise was coming from upstairs and continuously bothered the neighbor upstairs both physically and mentally. Therefore, he will be punished severely,” said Judge Lim Hae-ji.
