KBS airs final Ladies' Code performance

KBS on Sunday aired the final performance of the girl group Ladies’ Code, which was rocked by a deadly car accident earlier this month that killed two of its members.

The group had recorded the episode of “Open Concert” on September 2 in Daegu, immediately before the crash occurred as the group was driving back home in rainy conditions. Singers Go Eun-bi and Kwon Ri-se both died as a result of the accident.

KBS officials said the decision to air the footage was made after careful discussions and to respect the wishes of the bereaved parents.

Some fans, however, were upset that KBS only aired the performance of the band’s latest single, “Kiss, Kiss,” when the group had actually recorded two songs for Open Concert. They bombarded the broadcaster’s website with complaints.
