Actress embroiled over fist fight with neighbor

Actress Kim Boo-seon has accused the leader of a neighborhood group of instigating a fight between the two last week.

The 53-year-old actress posted photos on Facebook that purportedly showed her upper chest, which had become red due to punches from the other woman.

Television stations showed CCTV footage of the alleged fight, which erupted during a neighborhood meeting. It showed the actress and the woman throwing punches at each other while a few others try to hold them back.

The fight allegedly occurred when Kim raised the issue of heating bills, saying some residents hadn’t paid and were “stealing” heat from other people in their community in Seongdong-gu.

The woman “first harassed me with harsh language and then beat me,” Kim said.

“I got my medical estimates and there are witnesses. There are video records to prove that,” Kim said.
