A 2013 song by girl group Ladies’s Code has topped the charts this week after one of its members died in a car accident Wednesday.

Koh Eun-bi, who went by the stage name EunB, died and another member, Kwon Ri-se, sustained serious injuries when a van carrying the band crashed into a median barrier.

“I’m Fine Thank You,” a ballad performed by the band, hit the top of the charts due to fans who wanted to honor the group.

“EunB’s wish was to stand on top of music charts podium,” fans posted on social media sites.

Their efforts were reflected on online music charts such as Melon, Naver and Mnet as of Thursday morning.

The group was driving from Daegu, North Gyeonggi Province to Seoul after recording a television music program. At around 1:20 a.m., driving along the slippery Yeongdong Expressway near Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, the vehicle’s rear tire came off causing the vehicle to lose control and crash into a protective wall.

The late singer’s funeral is reportedly slated to take place at Korea University Anam Hospital, Friday.
