Men and women react differently after sex

Listen

Results from a recent survey supported the common believe that men are more likely to grow distant after having sex than females.

A joint survey by matchmaking agencies Bien Aller and Only You asked 556 single men and women, “How did your partner change after first sex?”

Nearly 70 percent of male respondents said their partners became more intimate. Only 10 percent of the same group responded that females remained the same after sex.

On the other hand, less than forty percent of female respondents said their male partners became more intimate.

As to another question, “How did you change after first sex?” 48 percent of male respondents said they were not significantly affected by it. Almost 69 percent of female respondents said they became more passionate towards their male partners.

A “couples manager” from Only You speculated that females often become more committed to their partners after first sex because many use the act to declare their romantic intentions.
