Sochi Olympics begin
The final rehearsal for a gala show that will open the Sochi Olympics on Saturday (KST) is held at Fisht Stadium. Some 2,900 athletes from 86 countries will vie for 98 gold medals. Korea has sent a record 71 athletes to Sochi, who will compete in every sport except ice hockey. / Yonhap
