A 47-year-old Bae entering the Incheon International Airport was not a pretty sight.
She had been on the run in China for 42 months and did not look like the glamorous con artist that she used to be.
Wearing a worn-out red jumper, she was escorted away by the police.
She reportedly said she having such a tough time that she was going to give herself in anyway.
In 2007, Bae became a part of a 13-memberring that organized gambling trips for wealthy clients.
She would frequent golf clubs and meet up with members, then conniving them into going on golf trips to China.
Once there, in locations like Shandong, the ring members would drug the clients and play cards with them.
As for those who did not want to gamble, they were dragged to brothels and threatened police reports, eventually getting them to cough up money.
Since May 2007, the gang reportedly swindled 1.55 billion won ($1.4 million) from three victims.
They filed reports with the police and had to go on the run with her payout of 34 million won ($30,000) running out in no time.
She was left to baby sit and sell kimchi in China before deciding that she has had enough.
