Lohan Auctions Herself for Charity

Lindsay Lohan has announced that she will auction off a date with herself to benefit charity, the Digital Spy of the United Kingdom reported.

The actress will auction a night out in Hollywood to the highest bidder of the iRock4Haiti charity event. The winner will receive a first-class flight to Los Angeles and a week-long stay in a five-star hotel.

"It is truly horrible what has happened to the people and children in Haiti," the actress recently told In Touch Weekly. "I believe every company should do their part to help by donating what they can."

Lohan drew media criticism after a tumultuous split from DJ Samantha Ronson last year. She has recently garnered positive attention for her charity work, including a philanthropic trip to India and AIDS work in Kenya.

로한은 `인 터치 위클리'와의 인터뷰에서 ``아이티 지진으로 인한 피해는 진짜 끔찍했다''면서 ``모든 기업들이 기부에 최선을 다해야 할 것으로 믿는다''고 말했다.

로한은 지난해 사만사 론슨과 시끄럽게 헤어진 뒤 언론의 비판을 받았었다. 그녀는 최근 인도로의 자선여행과 케냐에서의 에이즈 활동 등 자선사업에 열중해 긍정적인 반응을 얻고 있다.
