No to Strip Deal

Sexy soprano Katherine Jenkins has turned down $1.6 million to strip for Playboy ― because she didn't want to upset her mum, according to The Sun of the United Kingdom.

The singer, 29, admitted: "She would have been so disappointed in me."

Katherine once posed for a men's magazine in a revealing basque.

But she has never totally shown off her curvy figure.

The former beauty contest winner also revealed she wants a large family with TV star boyfriend Gethin Jones after she stops touring.

18억 줘도 누드는 `노'

'성악계의 신데렐라'로 각광 받고 있는 영국 출신 소프라노 캐서린 젠킨스 (29)가 플레이보이의 160만 달러 (약 18억5000만 원) 누드 제의를 거부했다고 영국의 선지가 보도했다.

젠킨스가 '플레이보이'의 제의를 거절한 것은 어머니 때문인 것으로 알려졌다.

그녀는 "누드 모델로 나설 경우 어머니가 매우 상심할 것"이라고 말했다.

젠킨스가 몸에 착 달라붙는 옷을 입고 한 남성잡지의 모델로 나선 적은 있지만 지금까지 온 몸을 드러낸 적은 없다.

미인대회 우승자 출신의 젠킨스는 공연 투어를 중단한 뒤에는 TV 스타인 남자친구 게신 존스와 대가족을 꾸리고 싶다는 희망을 피력했다.
