Korean Woman Charged

A Korean woman suspected of being the mastermind behind a series of break-ins at the homes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan has been charged with felony burglary and receiving stolen property.

Rachel Lee, 19, also joined five other young men and women for burglaries at the homes of celebrities including Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, Ashley Tisdale, Megan Fox and Audrina Patridge.

Lee turned herself to the police station Wednesday afternoon and was immediately released on the bail of $150,000, jail records showed.

She was arrested once last October in Las Vegas, where she lives. Los Angeles County prosecutors initially declined to press charges against her, instead asking police for more investigation, on grounds that there is no evidence.

The burglaries occurred between December 2008 and October 2009. Lohan and Patridge provided police with surveillance video footage.

A press release stated the property Lee is suspected of stealing includes a fur coat and photographs.

13일 기소된 레이첼 이 (19)는 5명의 다른 청소년들과 함께 올랜도 블룸, 레이첼 빌슨, 애슐리 티스데일, 메간 폭스, 오드리나 패트리지 등 연예인들의 빈집털이를 감행했다.

교도소 기록에 따르면 이 씨는 13일 오후 경찰에 자수한 뒤 15만 달러의 보석금을 내놓고 곧바로 풀려났다.

이 씨는 지난 10월 자신이 거주 중인 라스베가스에서 한 차례 체포됐었다. 그러나 로스앤젤레스 주 검찰은 확실한 물증이 없어 경찰에 수사를 의뢰하며 그녀를 기소하지는 않았었다.

주거털이는 2008년 12월과 2009년 10월 사이 일어났다. 로한과 패트리지는 경찰에 감시 자료화면을 제공한 상태이다.

공식 발표에 따르면 이 씨는 훔친 물건들 중 모피 코트와 사진을 받은 것으로 여겨진다.
