HS World’s Best Musicians to Gather at Hangang

A festival celebrating club culture is to host some of the best domestic and foreign musicians around on June 27 and 28.

The club festival, titled "Next Floor," is to light up the Hangang Park in Nanji area for two nights. The place will be thumping with some great music from popular club musicians.

Next Floor is a truly unique festival. The talented musicians will present some new music and the unknown yet promising artists will also rock the crowd. It's an experience you won't be able to get anywhere else.

Subtitled "Hangang Club Festival 08," the event will feature 22 of the biggest clubs from the Hongdae area as well as 100 or so musicians.

One of the most sought after acts, Impacted Mushroom, an electronic live band boasting ninth place in a world DJ ranking, will deliver their powerful sound.

An Aussie band with a wide range of unique sound, Pendulum is making their first visit to Korea and the fans here in Seoul are already buzzing with anticipation of their performance.

Korea's top musicians are to make their way to Hangang as well. A well-known modern rock band in Korea, Nell, as well as No Brain, considered by some to be a living indie rock legend, will pump up the crowd with their energetic play.

The festival is being hosted as part of the ongoing Seoul City Hangang Renaissance Project. Those attending the party will have a chance to experience a wide range of cultural programs as well as a free market.
