Injured person from pro-Park rally dies
A person who was injured during the March 10 pro-Park Geun-hye rally died Wednesday, raising the number of fatalities from the protest to four. The rally took place near the Constitutional Court on the day of the former president’s impeachment ruling.The man surnamed Kim, 72, who was hospitalized after taking part in the protest, died around 6:50 p.m., according to police.Kim is believed to have fallen into a coma after being pushed by other participants near police buses, which were lined up to prevent protesters from entering the court.The Jongno Police Station is seeking the consent from bereaved family members for an autopsy to clarify the exact cause of Kim’s death.Three people died last month in the pro-Park rally _ a man surnamed Kim, 72, who was hit by a falling speaker, and a man surnamed Kim, 66, and another surnamed Lee, 73, who died of heart problems.
