Police believe other people are involved.

The Uruguayan then punched the Venezuelan.“Both teams did not want the other team to be punished,” a police official told Newsis, a Korean news outlet. “The fight is presumed to be an aftermath of the U-20 World Cup semifinal on June 8.”Venezuela defeated Uruguay 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw to advance the final against England.The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) is expected to have a final decision on whether or not to take disciplinary actions before the final on June 11.

 By Lee Kyung-min   Park Geun-ryong, younger sister of former President Park Geun-hye, has been indicted for fraud and violating the Attorneys-at-Law Act, the prosecution said Friday.Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office said Park was suspected of receiving 100 million won ($89,000) in checks from the head of a social welfare organization, surnamed Jung. The money was in return for her influence to help land a 16 billion won government contract with the public organization in 2014.An individual surnamed Kwak, Park’s former secretary, who is suspected of helping Park in the process, was also indicted.The prosecution said Park took the money although she lacked any business capacity and had no intention to influence the deal.Park denied the allegation, saying she had already returned the amount, a claim supported by Jung who submitted a document confirming this.However, Park is subject to prosecution because under the law, returning the money is irrelevant from an act constituting a fraud.Park also faces charges of violating the Attorneys-at-Law Act

Korean Air plane's cockpit briefly catches fire

A fire briefly occurred in the cockpit of a South Korean passenger airplane when it was landing at Japan's Fukuoka airport Friday, local media reports showed. The plane run by South Korea's flag carrier Korean Air Lines Co. was carrying 153 passengers and nine crew members when it landed at Fukuoka airport around 10:22 a.m., according to the reports.Firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving a report that the cockpit had caught fire.
