Police will unmask karaoke bar owner Byun Gyeong-suk, 34, who allegedly killed a man and mutilated his body, Gyeonggi Nambu Police said on Thursday.
Seven members of a review board unanimously agreed to disclose his identity due to the severity of his alleged crime.
Byun, 34, would be the second case where identity was revealed, after Kim Soo-chul, a sex offender who abducted and assaulted a primary school student.
Byun confessed that he stabbed the man, 51, to death and disposed of the body in Seoul Grand Park because he threatened to report Byun over an illegal hostess service.
