Human bones found in factory's water purifier plant

Human bones were found inside a water purifying facility of a manufacturing plant in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, police said Friday.
They were discovered in a jacket on Tuesday that workers removed while cleaning the facility.
The National Forensic Service examined the bones but failed to identify the person. It also failed to confirm the time and cause of death.
“There are signs that the skeleton was struck by a powerful external force, but it's uncertain if the force was applied before or after death,” the institute wrote in an interim report. “The victim is presumed to be male, but not 100 percent certain.”
Police said the victim is believed to have been killed and dumped inside the facility. They said the victim was presumed to be a foreigner because the jacket was a Southeast Asian brand never sold here.
