July 26-Aug. 18, 2001 -- Visits Moscow at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.

Aug. 20-24, 2002 -- Visits Russia's Far East at the invitation of President Putin.

April 19-21, 2004 -- Visit China at the invitation of President Hu Jintao.

Jan. 10-18, 2006 -- Visits China at the invitation of President Hu.

May 3-7, 2010 -- Visits China at the invitation of President Hu.

Aug. 26-30, 2010 -- Visits China at the invitation of President Hu.
