But it requires a certain elaborative explanation.First of all, we must discern the differences between physiognomy and facial impressions in reading faces. When I read faces, it refers to physiognomy. It is to foretell people’s destiny by reading not only their faces but their overall body shapes formed by osteological features, which include their posture, body language and even voice tones.While saju solely originated from ancient Asian philosophy, physiognomy has roots both in the East and West. Basically reading people’s faces was done to evaluate their personalities and aptitudes in the West but Asian culture has developed its theory to infer their fate as well.It is based on the belief a person’s mind and spirit are reflected in their appearances.
