Waking up early in the morning, she was standing all day baking pies and cookies at the little pie shop. The church had initiated the project a decade ago. During a news conference at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul, Tuesday, Rev. Lee Young-hoon said his church is fully prepared to complete the construction of the hospital for cardiology and heart surgery in North Korea's capital, named David Yonggi Cho Hospital after the church's founder, as soon as possible.“The hospital project has been suspended for nine years. US archbishop to visit Seoul next week to discuss inter-Korean peace

BroglioA U.S. archbishop will travel to South Korea next week in a bid to assist their Korean Catholic counterparts' efforts to build peace with North Korea, the local church said Wednesday.The solidarity visit by Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, chairman of the Committee on International Justice and Peace of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), is scheduled from Dec. 18-21, according to the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Korea.On the second day of the visit, the archbishop will attend a meeting on inter-Korean and North Korea-U.S. diplomatic issues, hosted by the Korean body's Committee for the Reconciliation of the Korean People.North Korean refugees will also be part of the meeting to discuss North Korean human rights, with the presence of Father Gerard E.
