Performing Arts Museum to Open

The need for the museum has been discussed to better preserve, collect and exhibit performing arts materials as its genres are intangible and ephemeral once the curtain has been drawn. The museum collects related materials and excavates lost or dispersed information from all areas of the performing arts to revive their meaning and significance. Among others, all the museum's data and records will be digitalized and forwarded to cultural organizations worldwide. It also aims to expand its role as a"Global Digital Museum" and "Modern Cultural Complex" by storing all information in digital format so that its archive can be searched from local partnered libraries and museums in the world. Gifts of the Magi to Start New Year

The story is set in a small town in New York in 1905 where a young couple, Jim and Della, are out of work and penniless. The show begins with the well-known short story, which revolves around the couple's exchange of gifts ― the young wife's beautiful hair and the young husband's treasured pocket watch. The story develops with the introduction of other young characters ― a cheerful bum named Soapy and a newsboy narrator Willy who are poor but hopeful during the Christmas season. The musical deals with the value of love and gifts while depicting the daily lives of ordinary people. It is based on two short stories by O.
