Citing unidentified diplomatic sources, South Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo daily reported that the Istana is one of the places under consideration as the summit venue. “Istana could be the venue,” JoongAng quoted a source as saying, “considering the magnitude and sensitivity of the summit.” Shangri-La Hotel is another location that could host the meeting.
