But then, they told him that they were unsure about just one thing: how to market him as a Chinese/Asian artist. This uncertainty remained unsolved, so he ended up not getting signed. Oricon has been releasing its mid-year charts, which compile revenues from singles, albums, streaming platforms and DVDs among others, since 2018.
