By Kwak Yeon-sooLee Soo-eunLee Soo-eun, the director and stage and costume designer of “Delegation X: Hofmann's Unification Radio,” is a trailblazer in bringing the research lecture performance to Korean theater.“Delegation X” is a research lecture performance introduced by The Lunatiks, a German theatrical production team, in which performers present their perspectives on unification to share with the audience. The Lunatiks are recognizable by their specific approach to the theme instead of reconstructing artistic handwritings. They survey and conduct extensive research on the selected theme, and convert field recordings and interview tapes into a composition that is played during the performance.
