Malaysia approved the import of the cattle on June 19, as impressed by Korea's speedy and thorough disease control response and the transparency of the country's agriculture and livestock infection authorities. The export of halal-certified premium beef-producing livestock will boost the country's share in the $1.9 billion halal market.
