World's tallest man found dead at home

A man believed to be the world’s tallest has died at his home in Thailand after an illness linked to his fast growth, the British Daily Mail reports.
Pornchai Saosri, who was 268.224 centimeters, died aged 26 in Ban Takaeo village.
Saosri, nicknamed “Oaf” by his family, struggled with several illnesses and had been in hospital.
Soon after being discharged, his mother found him dead when she returned from doing the washing up
Although he was believed to be the tallest man, he could not be officially titled due to health problems that stopped him from standing straight.
The Guinness World Record holder is Sultan Kosen from Turkey, who is 252.984 centimeters.
