Son murders parents with Samurai sword

Georgia police arrested a man after he slaughtered his parents with a rare choice of weapon ― a samurai sword ― the New York Daily News said Thursday.

Calvin Ray Jr., 39, used the classic Japanese slashing blade to murder his mother, 73, and father, 75. They have not been identified by the police.

Bodies of the victims were discovered first by their relative who visited their Atlanta home. The police said Ray was nabbed in a public park nearby only two hours after the murder of his parents was reported. He fled the murder scene using his parents’ car.

The police said Ray was living with his parents at their suburban home.
