South Korean delegation arrives in Rio

South Korea’s handball player Oh Young-ran carries her nation's flag as the Olympic team arrives to Rio de Janeiro International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Wednesday. The first contingent of South Korea’s 331-member Olympic squad, consisting of 97 athletes and 23 sports officials, arrived in Rio de Janeiro after 24 hours and 35 minutes of flight. The delegation was welcomed by some 90 South Korean residents in Brazil. The South Korean delegation is led by Chung Mong-gyu, who is president of the Korea Football Association. / AP-Yonhap
