The list of Russian athletes banned from competing at the Rio Olympics is growing. So far, 105 have been barred over the country’s largest doping scandal.

All 68 track and field athletes have been banned from participating, while the international federations of sailing, canoeing, modern pentathlon, rowing and swimming have ruled out 37 athletes.

But the number of Russian athletes to be banned is expected to increase as the federations of boxing, golf, gymnastics, handball, table tennis, volleyball, wrestling, weightlifting, fencing and triathlon are yet to announce the results of doping tests.

Taekwondo, judo, tennis, cycling, equestrian, archery, badminton and shooting athletes have all been cleared to participate.

Russia initially planned to send 387 athletes to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics that begin on August 5.
