Kang Jung-ho slams 10th homer

Pittsburgh Pirates player Kang Jung-ho has slammed his 10th home run against the San Francisco Giants.

Kang hit the run from a slider from San Francisco starter Jeff Samardzija in the bottom of the third inning Wednesday.

Kang’s homer gave the Pirates a 6-1 lead.

This was his first home run since June 14 against the New York Mets. Kang started the game as a third baseman and fourth at bat.

As of 10:30 a.m. (KST), the game is in the bottom of the sixth inning and the Giants lead 7-6.
