The Minnesota Twins’ Korean slugger Park Byung-ho hit his third home run of the season in his first multi-hit game against the Milwaukee Brewers, Tuesday (KST).

At the Twins’ Target Field, Park started the game as the designated hitter and batted sixth.

Park, who hit into a double play at his first at bat in the bottom of the second inning, stepped into the batter’s box again with no one on base in a 3-3 tie in the fourth and homered on a fly ball to right field against the Brewers starter Chase Anderson.

The 29-year-old also hit safely in his third at bat in the bottom of the fifth. After hitting 2-for-3, Park has improved his batting average to .205.

In a game that ended after six innings due to rain, the Twins beat the Brewers 7-4, extending their winning streak to four after taking nine consecutive losses.

Meanwhile, the Star Tribune, the largest daily in Minnesota, introduced a “cheer” especially for Park on its website.

“A few weeks back, local musician Nato Coles decided that Byung Ho Park's cheer from his Korean team, the Nexen Heroes, needed a Minnesota cover version,” the daily’s website said. “So here it is. We'll expect to hear it from now on whenever Park homers at Target Field.”

The posted message also included a video of the cheer featuring the Nexen Heroes version with dance moves.
