Sentinel announces new gym in Gwanghwamun
Thor Limited, the parent company of CrossFit gym franchise, Reebok CrossFit Sentinel, announced Tuesday it will relocate its core branch in Euljiro to Gwanghwamun.
In a statement released by the company, the branch called “Downtown Box,” was established in November 2012 as the second gym of Sentinel and has served a key role in the franchise’s growth for the past three years.
After the brand made inroads into Korea in January 2012, it has established five gyms in Hannam, Euljiro, Yeouido, Samsung-dong in Seoul and Pangyo in Gyeonggi Province.
The current Downtown Box in Euljiro will close in November and will reopen in Gwanghwamun six months later, according to the company.
Also the headquarters of the company will move to Gwanghwamun, the statement said.
The company said it will extend its exclusive Boot Camp program, a combination of intensive full-body workouts, not only those in their 20s to 30s but also 30s to 40s.
