Choo Shin-soo Blasts Home Run off Lincecum
Choo Shin-soo of the Cleveland Indians had his first homer of the preseason against the San Francisco Giants Wednesday (KST).
The 27-year-old Korean outfielder hit a solo shot off two-time defending Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum in the bottom of the first inning and the Indians won 7-1.
The right-handed hard thrower was 15-7 with a 2.48 ERA last season.
Choo also drove in a run in the third as he grounded out and brought home Jason Donald from third base.
He went 1 for 3 with two RBIs before being lifted in the sixth and is batting .350 with one dinger and five RBIs in seven exhibition games.
