Park Chan-ho Still Waiting for Offer

With Major League Baseball (MLB) on the verge of starting spring training, free agent Park Chan-ho's future is still up in the air.
The San Francisco Giants, one of the few suitors for Park after the 36-year-old declined the Phillies' offer worth $3 million, have almost completed their offseason moves after signing veteran reliever Guillermo Mota, Kim Byung-hyun and Horacio Ramirez to fortify the bullpen this week.
The Cubs may be the only team left with any interest in the South Korean.
SI.com reported that Chicago, headed by manager Lou Piniella, were in touch with Park late last month.
Chicago, which finished second in the NL Central last season, is reportedly in search of a veteran setup man such as Kiko Calero, Mike MacDougal or Park.
