Lim Chang-yong of the Yakult Swallows claimed his 24th save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Chunichi Dragons, Saturday in a match between the Nippon Professional Baseball league teams.
The right-handed closer, who also closed out Friday's game against the Dragons, gave up a double to Atsushi Fujii, but retired the next two batters to get the save. He lowered his ERA to a paltry 0.22.
As of Saturday, Lim ranks second in the Central League in saves, trailing Dragons closer Hitoki Iwase, who sits atop the league with 30.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-yeop of the Yomiuri Giants went 0-for-4 against the Hanshin Tigers.
Lee, who ended an 0-20 slump on Wednesday, has not produced any hits in three subsequent games.
He is currently batting .229.
